6. Direct marketing Like most businesses, marketing is important to our continued success. We believe we have a unique range of products and services that weprovide to customers at a high standard. We therefore like to stay intouch with customers and let them know about new opportunities. We mayprovide you with information about new products, services and promotions eitherfrom us, or from third parties which may be of interest to you.You may opt out at any time if you no longer wish to receive commercialmessages from us. 7. Accessing and correcting your personal information You may contact our Privacy Officer to request access to the personalinformation that we hold about you and/or to make corrections to thatinformation, at any time. You generally have the right to access yourpersonal information, subject to some limitations contained in the
PrivacyAct 1988 (Cth). The Australian Privacy Principles set out somecircumstances in which we are not required to provide you with suchaccess. On the rare occasions when we refuse access, we will provide youwith a written notice stating our reasons for refusing access. We mayseek to recover from you reasonable costs incurred for providing you withaccess to any of the personal information we hold about you.We are not obliged to correct any of your personal information if we donot agree that it requires correction and may refuse to do so. If werefuse a correction request, we will provide you with a written notice statingour reasons for refusing.We will respond to all requests for access to or correction of personalinformation within a reasonable time.

Overseas transfers of personal information From time to time we may engage overseas business partners and serviceproviders, such as cloud-based storage solutions, email newsletterdistributors, statistical analysts, etc. This may involve disclosing yourpersonal information to those overseas entities in order to do businesseffectively. Because these entities may change from time to time and mayhave offices and services in many different places around the world, it is notpracticable to list the countries where they are located in this PrivacyPolicy.By providing your personal information to us, you consent to usdisclosing your personal information to overseas recipients for purposesnecessary or useful in the course of operating our business, and agree thatAPP 8.1 will not apply to such disclosures. For the avoidance ofdoubt, in the event that an overseas recipient breaches the Australian PrivacyPrinciples, that entity will not be bound by, and you will not be able seekredress under, the Privacy Act.If you do not want us to disclose your information to overseasrecipients, please let us know.
